Default Andrej Nestrasil

Anyone on the broads following the LHJMQ?

Nestrasil is their first scorer this year, he is a rookie, only 17 years ol. Where he is projected to go in the draft?

Are you KIDDING? I've been relentlessly pimping Nestrasil since the beginning of the year. Major man-crush.

Highlight package I put together back in October:

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

I have a Pierre-sized boner for a 6'2, 200 lbs winger with Hemsky-like hands and a willingness to play physical. I get to see Tomas Vincour play every week and I've never been as impressed with him as I have Nestrasil.

His only major weakness is skating ability, but that's primarily because of the imbalance between his stick-thin legs and bulky upper body rather than poor technique. He's got a lot of the same qualities as Thomas Vanek from his 17/18 year-old season.

Draft position: No major scouting 'services' have him in their top 30, but I'd put him there. Just a terrific player.

Wow thanks a lot Mr Bugg.

I was looking at him to be one of my steal for the next draft, he isn't ranked among top-30 like you said. My cousin is living in Victo and I think we will go watch a game this weeks. I'm looking forward for this kid.

He's a lot of fun to watch. He's got a cockiness about him that screams "I'm going to score this shift". While he doesn't, he backs up the opposition and is crazy clutch. I'd wager 70%+ of his assists have come on GWG or GTG.

When he takes Victoriaville on his back, it's a show (see: OT GWG in a 1-0 win).

However, it hasn't always been this way. He was benched at the beginning of December, and has been a PPG+ player since, and their best most nights.

Have you watched him in the playoffs?

Pretty impressive set of skills. If he works on his explosion, he could really look great in the pros.

131 67 Nestrasil, Andrej Right Wing/Center Victoriaville QMJHL

He was 67th in the mid-term rankings and now is 131th. I hope we grab him with our mid third or fourth pick. Him and Paquette would be great picks. Along with Lee or Everson.

There's this guy also:

69 84 Fallstrom, Alexander Right Wing Shat.St.Mary's HIGH-MN

Who's getting some praise lately. Here's the article:

What about his namesake Andrej Stastny? I noticed his name in a top 100 list and saw he has good size along with good genes since I assume he's a son of one of the brothers.

I assumed that too but I've been told I was wrong.
