USA is a rising force, Canadians refuse to accept it, but it's true. The Olympic gold they won deserves a big fat * for winning in 4 on 4, when 5 on 5 USA was the better team.

The skilled forwards are coming, we're developing elite, or soon to be elite defensemen.

the game was played team USA's style at 5 on 5. 4 on 4 just opened the ice up to much. USA owned the 3rd period, Canadas gold does indeed deserve a * next to it, and I'd say the same if team USA had won in the same situation. Imagine the stanley cup decided in 4v4 hockey?
