Seems as if the forum could use a new thread so here goes:
Use the Panthers top selections this summer (1st, 2nd or 3rd) along with a prospect for a top two or three defenceman. Kaberle fits that bill quite nicely.
Continue the remainder of February with:
Kaberle McCabe
Jaybo Ballard
Skrastins Boynton
On or near the trade deadline on March 4th (with only 20 or so games left in the season) you move Jaybo to the highest bidder to recover the youth/picks lost in the Kaberle deal.
